Never say "cat" if you don't have it in your bag! However, I think that a correct english translation could be "Don't count your chickens before they hatch". Del resto spesso amo affermare che "I know my chicken"...ma forse non li conosco abbastanza. Continuo a stupirmi, malgrado l'età avanzata, di certi non-sense behaviours. I am still quite confused and frustrated because nonsense behaviours are the worst to get rid of.
